It allows you to keep the space open! Open space means room to play and perform functional movements. The Spine is made of metal and comes in 2 sizes 78” or 48”. They come will wall mounts so it is easily bolted right to your wall. They can also be hung horizontal or vertical whichever fits your needs. The rings are ever six inches across the entire spine.
